The Strangers

frontpage Jonathan Sachar and Preston Grammer are the duo from Nashville, Tennessee known as The Strangers. Their high octane show never fails to impress crowds nightly. They perform new and classic hits combined with their unique style that draws crowds in the famous honky tonks of downtown Nashville as well as on the road touring.

Jonathan Sachar found his passion for the acoustic guitar after first trying out the drums and bass. His still plays the Gibson he learned on today. After moving from Arkansas to South Carolina Sachar decided to pursue a career in music full time. He moved to Nashville in 2009 once he has spent a few years touring with different bands. Sachar landed his first acoustic gig at Big Shotz in downtown Nashville after Jacob Stiefel let him play “Here’s a Quarter” during an acoustic set. Management was so impressed they got his information and gave him a weekly acoustic gig himself.

frontpage Preston Grammer began playing the guitar when he was twelve years-old, inspired to learn after hearing the Allman Brothers for the first time. While pursuing a career in music he learned how to live life on the road as the youngest member of Bishop Black. Grammer met Jonathan Sachar his first night living in Nashville. Jonathan and Preston played their first show together without ever rehearsing and knew right then they had both found a musical partner and decided to put a band together.

frontpage Over the past year Preston and Jonathan have perfected their crafts by playing a variety of songs for many different audiences. They have grown from fellow musicians to best friends, and it is apparent by their on-stage chemistry. The Strangers look forward to what is yet to come for them musically.
